Profile

The story is Serge, a young man who is able to cross dimensions. The story takes place in a small villager of Arni where Serge lives peacefully with his mother. While collect komodo dragon scales on the beach for his friend Leena at Opassa Beach. he slips into an alternate dimension which he drowned on the beach ten years prior. There he meets famous thief, Kid, a teenage girl on quest to find Frozen Flame. Slowly as the game process Serge learn the truth behind his supposed death in Another World, his connection to Lynx, and Frozen Flame.

Main Character

Unlike most of RPG (role play game) there are 40 characters to choose to join Serge team. Each has his, her or its own unique personality traits and background story. Originally, sixty-four were planned. With forty to choose from and 12 different ending it is impossible to play the game once. You can play as much as you can by using the "New Game+" feature. World

In the game there are two world Home World and Another World. One world where Serge was drowned by Lynx in the year 1010 A.D. at the age of seven. The other world where Serge is alive and living in a happy and prosperous life. Events in one dimension sometime can have an impact to the other world. For example, cooling scorched ground on an island allows vegetation to grow in the other world.

Elements

The game focuses on six different elements types: white, black, blue, red, yellow, and green. Each elements have it own cause and status effect to the character. Depend on the character it can either weak or make the them stronger. There two general types of elements in the Chrono cross world. Consumable Elements could used only once (or until you have no more) and non-consumable element never run out (until your stamina is running low). Elements can be purchased from shops or found in treasure chests littered throughout areas. The best why to use Element again toward the enemies or your party is opposite color. Using opposite Element against it each other can either weaken or stronger.
